Trademark Use Guidelines

Guidelines

You will only use the USAN Marks in accordance with these Trademark Use Guidelines. In the event of a conflict between these Trademark Use Guidelines and any separate Agreement, the Trademark Use Guidelines will prevail with respect to USAN Marks.

Customers may:

  • redistribute Marketing Content in an unaltered state.
  • issue a press release or make any other public communication with respect to your use of USAN Products, after receiving USAN’s expressed consent.
  • use USAN Marks in collateral creation after receiving USAN’s expressed consent.

You will not:

  • misrepresent or embellish the relationship between USAN and you (including by expressing or implying that we support, sponsor, endorse, or contribute to you or your business endeavors).
  • imply any relationship or affiliation between us and you except as expressly permitted by this Trademark Use Guidelines or another Agreement.
  • modify Marketing Content without USAN’s express consent.

Definitions

“Agreements” means all policies, terms, guidelines and restrictions referenced in or incorporated into USAN Products and on the USAN site (usan.com/aws-docs). Agreements include, but are not limited to the End User License Agreement (EULA), Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Support Policy and these Trademark Use Guidelines. Agreements do not include Marketing Content or prior commitments to purchase services directly from USAN.

“Customers” means AWS account holders that have active instances of USAN Products purchased through the AWS Marketplace.

“Marketing Content” means whitepapers, case studies, data sheets, blog entries, videos, brochures and infographics provided by USAN to the public on the USAN website or other publicly accessible social media channel, like Facebook, YouTube, etc.

“USAN Marks” means any trademarks, service marks, service or trade names, logos, and other designations of USAN and its affiliates.

“Product” means all software and related content associated with a USAN listing in the AWS Marketplace, including APIs, WSDLs, documentation, sample code, software libraries, command line tools, proofs of concept, templates and other related technology. Product does not include Marketing Content.
