USAN’s Software Development team develops for a mix of different environments.  We are looking to expand and enhance our cloud Business Intelligence offerings which include Tableau and QuickSight. Our Tableau solution provides a rich graphical interface visualization for quantitative and qualitative analysis of structured data. We give developers the opportunity and flexibility to utilize different languages, tools, and environments.

The Business Intelligence Developer will design, develop, test, tune, implement, and support intuitive visualizations using industry standard BI tools such as Tableau. You will use your investigative and problem-solving skills to analyze data and uncover trends that deliver actionable insights for the business, while ensuring accuracy and reliability of data in delivered content through QA and testing. Will also be responsible for the creation, optimization, and maintenance of the daily reporting functionality and dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in BI tools with focus on Tableau.
  • Familiarity with dimensional data modeling; star/snowflake schemas.
  • Proficient front-end design and UX/UI skills, specific to the Tableau Platform.
  • Knows best practices for building responsive and sleek Tableau dashboards.
  • Experienced with optimizing dashboards and backend queries.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, in a strong team environment.
  • Exceptional trouble shooting, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work well within deadline-oriented development structure.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud assets like S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, VPC is plus.
