USAN is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable going all the way from requirements to deployment and who isn’t afraid of a little maintenance on legacy systems. At USAN, you will be part of a dedicated team working to provide custom contact center solutions from conception to release. You will work to design creative and robust solutions to streamline processes that keep our organization efficient and allow us to better care for our customers. Your passion for writing code, solving problems, designing solutions, and collaborating with other highly skilled individuals will allow you to achieve success in this fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Duties

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs
Support of ASP.NET web applications with MS SQL Server 2008/2012 databases
Provide migration path while enhancing feature functionality
Update, maintain and create internal web services
Extend our existing monitoring and configuration tools
Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process
Analyze user stories / business requirements to come up with high level design
Rapid prototyping of new tools to enhance business processes

Basic Qualifications

3-5 years of experience using C#, ASP.NET, C++, Java, and MS SQL Server in a professional setting
Experience and/or proven ability in UI in web front-end development
Ability to work independently but within team oriented structure
Ability to multi-task and flexible to get involved in all areas of IT with a medium sized company
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience using C# and C++ in a professional setting
Experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP
Exposure to working in both Windows and Linux environments
Exposure to Powershell, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Perl and/or bash scripting
Experience with AWS and/ or Azure interaction and automation
Experience with complex encryption algorithms
