Product Marketing Manager

The USAN team is seeking a results-oriented, customer-centric Product Marketing Manager to define and execute go-to-market plans for secure, hosted omni-channel contact center solutions.

The successful candidate is expected to think and act both strategically and tactically: from the creation of plans to execution. He or she will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. Responsibilities will include development of the overall marketing strategy and management of creative content development, roll-out, execution and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Management: Develop and enhance key brand messages and visual identity.
  • Content Marketing: Develop content strategy and positioning designed to drive specific audience awareness and behavior
  • Business Impact: Understands business objectives and proactively develops GTM market analysis to help drive business results.
  • Monitor and Measure results: Actively monitoring ROI on marketing activities
  • Trend/Competitor analysis: Monitor market trends, research consumer and B2B audiences/sectors and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Work with the field organization to plan marketing activities to drive results within budget and in line with the plan
  • Develop new sales enablement tools
  • Support content development, local social media and conferences/trade show participation

 Duties

  • Help define the product strategy and roadmap through market, customer, and competitive analysis
  • Develop national B2B marketing programs with field marketing, including a mix of digital and traditional marketing to increase brand awareness and achieve key marketing metrics
  • Refine existing and create new go-to-market plans for your market segment with a specific focus on market analysis, pricing, positioning, user / buyer personas, and content
  • Execute go-to-market plans in your market with a focus on creating launch plans, content strategies, and developing supporting collateral and sales tools
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer and market requirements
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Account Management to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

 Qualifications

  • Formal education and degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Experience in the customer service and/or customer experience markets.
  • At least three years of experience with a strong marketing background in B2B software
  • Must have thorough knowledge of building programs and work planning
  • Outstanding organizational, communications and interpersonal skills demonstrated by previously working successfully across group boundaries, especially with marketing, sales and analytical teams
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills and a desire to create an open and collaborative team culture
  • Ability to liaise between the client, USAN, and 3rd party organizations to ensure collaboration and coordination

 Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience working through the full launch life cycle from initial planning and design to on-going execution, particularly related to SaaS solutions
  • Possess specialized knowledge of the best practices of inbound content and account based marketing
  • Consulting background with experience and knowledge of best practices related to requirements gathering for large software or SaaS customers
  • Ability to travel to customer and non-customer sites (up to 25%)
